Geneviève Zaloum Geneviève has been practicing falconry for the past 7 years. Her first exposure to the sport came after having completed her first summer job offering bird of prey demonstrations. She continued to learn more by joining AQFA (the Quebec association) and learning everything she could to be able to succeed. With a developing passion to pursue the sport she acquired a Harris Hawk and began finding success on cottontail rabbits. She has worked with many birds of prey, but has had success hunting with an American Kestrel, and a cast of Harris Hawks. Geneviève is currently the president of AQFA and a NAFA member, and currently the NAFA Canadian Director. She aims to share her passion for the sport and help ensure it is represented in the best way possible. She continues to travel to different regions to learn how falconry can be practiced elsewhere.
