A total new perspective.

Our Mission Statement

Falconry Fund is a new 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to support and protect the various arts and practices of falconry and the cultural and environmental assets that make it possible. The Falconry Fund, Inc., seeks to become a vital and effective nonprofit charitable organization based in the United States to serve falconers on the North American continent and elsewhere so that this art and practice may be pursued without undue restriction and free from current or potential threats by incompatible human activity.

The Falconry Fund will focus on: • Education: Activities and initiatives that …expose and enlighten the public to the art and cultural heritage of falconry; its present and historical practice, negligible impact on wildlife populations and many positive effects. • Conservation: improve and protect the wild viability and captive propagation of species and native habitats essential to the practice of falconry. • Cultural Preservation: preserve the varied practice of falconry as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity and expand opportunities for its pursuit to all people, regardless of race, gender, geography or economic status. • Advocacy: preserve the varied practice of falconry as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity and expand opportunities for its pursuit to all people, regardless of race, gender, geography or economic status.

The problems facing falconry that the Falconry Fund will be an advocate for: • Habitat degradation and restrictions to access • Prey species decline and restrictions to harvest • Aging falconer population • Competing cultural values and entertainments • Anti-hunting / Animal Rights groups and their influence • Local, State and Federal regulatory issues
