The Fund was established by Doug’s wife, Trish Pineo, and their two children Chris and Helen, to provide scholarships that foster opportunities for newcomers and young adults to experience and appreciate the wonders of nature through mentored recreational and educational experiences.

NAFA Small Grants Program Call For Applications Now Open
The Falconry Fund has partnered with the North American Falconers Association (NAFA) to support the Raptor & Falconry Small Grants Program (RFSGP). This grant stimulates innovative science, outreach, and scholarly activities for the North American falconry community that specifically support raptor conservation, the falconry tradition, and falconers. Proposals from falconers, raptor enthusiasts, citizen scientists, archivists, falconry clubs, graduate students, and academic scientists are encouraged and welcome.
